Caffeine Cutoff Calculator

Caffeine has a half-life of five to six hours, so half your afternoon coffee is still circulating at bedtime. Work out your last-cup time.

Caffeine does not cause snoring directly. It earns a place on a snoring site for an indirect reason: it fragments and shortens sleep, and short sleep deepens the sleep that follows. Deeper sleep means lower muscle tone throughout the airway, which means louder snoring.

The half-life is the thing people underestimate. Roughly five to six hours means half of a 3pm coffee is still in you at 9pm.
