Affiliate Disclosure
How Snoring Help makes money, which links earn a commission, and the rules that keep that separate from what we recommend.
Snoring Help is funded by affiliate commissions. This page explains exactly how that works, because you are entitled to know before you take a recommendation from us.
What earns us money
Some links on this site point to products sold by third parties. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is the same either way — commissions come out of the retailer's margin, not out of your pocket.
Commercial links of this kind are marked in the page's HTML with rel="sponsored nofollow", which is the standard disclosure format search engines ask for.
What does not earn us money
We link constantly to research papers, clinical guidance, professional bodies and other publications. Those links earn us nothing and exist only because the source is worth reading.
We also link to two sibling publications, The Natural Sleep Lab and 24 North, where they cover a topic in more depth than we do. Those are editorial links and are not paid.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Evidence tier first, commerce second. Every remedy on this site is graded on the evidence behind it before anyone looks at whether it is purchasable. A well-evidenced free intervention outranks a well-monetised product, and we say so.
- We say when something does not work. Several products we could earn a commission on are described here as unsupported by evidence. That is the point of the tiers.
- No paid reviews. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable review, and no brand sees a review before publication.
- Samples are disclosed. If a manufacturer sent us a product to test, the article says so.
- No medical claims for commercial gain. We will not describe a consumer product as a treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, because it is not one, regardless of what it would do for revenue.
If you would rather not send any commission our way, search for the product directly instead of using our links. The article will read exactly the same.
Buying direct on this site
Three pages — the mouth tape guide, our Titan mouth tape review and the Titan Recovery page — carry a Buy now button instead of only a link out.
What that means in practice:
- Titan Recovery is the seller, not us. The component is Shopify's, embedded from Titan's store. Pressing Buy now takes you straight to a checkout on titanrecovery.com — there is no cart on this site. Your order, your payment, your shipping and any refund are handled by them under their terms. We never see your payment details.
- The price is Titan's live price, pulled from their store rather than typed into an article, so it cannot go stale the way a written price can.
- We earn from purchases made this way, on the same basis as any other commercial link here.
- It is on three pages, deliberately. We have not put a buy button on all 210 articles. It appears where someone has already read the assessment and is deciding — not in the middle of a piece about whether their snoring needs a doctor.

Display advertising
Some pages carry banner advertising for Titan Recovery. Every one is labelled
Sponsored, and every ad link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" so search
engines are told plainly that it is a paid placement rather than an editorial
recommendation.
We do not run ads on articles about sleep apnea, on the safety and screening articles, or on anything covering pregnancy or children — the places where a purchase prompt would sit badly against advice to see a doctor or not to use a product at all. That currently excludes 29 articles.
