Sleep Apnea Risk Check

Eight questions covering the recognised risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea. It takes about a minute and it tells you whether the question is worth putting to a doctor.

Obstructive sleep apnea is common, treatable, and routinely missed for years — largely because its main symptom happens while you are unconscious and nobody else is watching.

This runs through the risk factors clinicians actually weigh. It is not a diagnosis and not a validated questionnaire, and it cannot tell you that you are fine. What it can do is tell you whether the question is worth answering properly.

Eight questions. If you have never been able to answer the ones about what happens while you are asleep, ask whoever shares a room with you — they are the only person who can see it.
